Compost

It may be made with manure, rice hulls, grass clippings, leaves, branches, cotton burr, straw and/or stable bedding depending on the availability of these feed stocks. We process these by combining various feed stocks, then grinding and screening them. Compost is sized to one inch down to fines. Compost is monitored and tested for maturity. The pH ranges from 6 to 7.5. Salt content is low to moderate.

Compost contains diverse microbial elements which improve soil biology and enhance plant development. Mycorrhizal fungi associate with plant root systems to increases water and food uptake. Bacteria, protozoa and nematodes found in compost are necessary for successful nutrient cycling and plant development.
